A late 70s Range Rover – another detailed cosmetic restoration.
The UK owner of this particular vehicle wanted a high end cosmetic overhaul of what was a remarkably solid but tired Classic.
Once we had carried out surprisingly minor welding repairs we undertook a full restoration of the outer body panels, replacing the front outer wings with new Genuine Part versions, sourcing good use dry-climate doors, and fitting a brand new Famous Four lower tailgate, Famous Four apron and closing panel, along with all new rubber seals to finish. We re-trimmed the outer rear quarter panels in period-correct black vinyl. Existing parts such as bumpers, wheels, grille and headlight surrounds were re-worked and painted.
The interior was re-trimmed to the customer’s bespoke specification.
Mechanical re-commissioning and a fresh MOT completed our works, resulting in another beautiful, highly useable appreciating classic built to our client’s requirements without going to the expense of a full restoration.
